MORA Office Online gets the desktop ribbon, consistent terminology and 26.10 version numbering
The browser-based editor now uses the same ribbon as MORA Office for desktop: the same tabs, command groups, Vietnamese labels and MORA icons. The ribbon has been slimmed down to two rows of icons, and the sidebar is hidden by default to leave more room for your document. All interface text now follows the desktop app's terminology, and every button has a Vietnamese label. Starting with this release, MORA Office Online is numbered by year and month, like the rest of the MORA product family.
New features 4
OnlineThe same ribbon as MORA Office for desktop
The ribbon in MORA Doc, Sheet and Slide on the web is built from the same design as the desktop apps: the same tabs, groups and Vietnamese labels, MORA icons, and each app's own accent color. If you already know the desktop version, you can start working in the browser right away without hunting for commands.
OnlineContextual tabs for tables, images and shapes
Selecting a table, image or shape now brings up the matching contextual tab, just as on desktop. In MORA Sheet, selecting a data table shows the Table Design tab.
OnlineMargins, Size and Orientation menus
The Margins, Size and Orientation buttons open preset menus right on the ribbon, so you can adjust page setup without opening a dialog.
DocStyles group and a fuller Table tab
MORA Doc on the web gains a Styles group for applying paragraph styles quickly, a Table tab with a Cell Size group, and contextual tabs for images and shapes.
Improvements 11
OnlineCompact two-row ribbon
The ribbon is now 56 pixels tall instead of 82, arranged in two rows of icons, with command names shown on hover. The editing area is noticeably larger, especially on laptop screens.
OnlineCleaner document name field
The document name appears as plain text at the top of the page and only shows a border when you hover over it or click to rename it.
OnlineSidebar hidden by default
The sidebar is now hidden by default in all four apps, as on desktop, leaving more room for your content. You can still open it whenever you need it, and your choice is remembered.
DocMORA Doc shows the ruler and opens at 100%
MORA Doc on the web shows the ruler by default, as on desktop, and opens documents at 100% zoom instead of stretching them to fill the screen.
SlideSlimmer slide and navigation panes
The slide pane in MORA Slide and the navigation pane in MORA Doc drop their redundant title rows, and their buttons move up to the tab row, freeing more space for content. The add-slide button now clearly reads Insert Slide.
OnlineFull labels on the File tab
Labels on the Export As and Download buttons in the File tab are no longer cut off.
OnlineTerminology aligned with the desktop app
More than 3,000 strings in the Vietnamese interface were revised to match the wording used in MORA Office for desktop, for terms such as Master Slide, Background, Wrap Text, Fill Series, Comment, Slide, Outline and Bookmark. One concept, one name, on every platform.
OnlineEvery ribbon button now has a Vietnamese label
More than 1,000 previously untranslated strings were added to the Vietnamese interface, including buttons that still appeared in English, such as Show Formulas, Insert Current Date, Delete Columns and Header and Footer. MORA Sheet also gains a Formula Bar button, and a new Manage Themes button has been added.
OnlineVietnamese labels for web-only commands
58 command labels that exist only in the web version are now translated into Vietnamese, including the Hanging Indent, Master Slides and Themes sidebar panels, MORA Slide sections and MORA Sheet tables.
OnlineOnly commands that work are shown
Commands that are available only in the desktop app are now hidden from the web ribbon, so there are no more buttons that do nothing when clicked.
OnlineHelp now leads to MORA support
The Help link in the editor now takes you to the MORA Office help pages.
